LORRAINE KING has gained an extraordinary reputation for writing quickly on any subject thrown at her. One of her memorable commissions was from a client who wanted to teach people how to say the place name Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyndrobwllllanttysilio-gogogoch in 4 minutes. It was a tough one, but she succeeded and not long after she was contacted by a Belgium radio station asking if they could use her song as penalty for one of their contestants who had answered a quiz question incorrectly!
As well as being a singer/songwriter in her Troubadour concert where she performs her own original material in a range of styles from blues to folk, rock and pop to ‘Country and West Wales Music’, Lorraine has produced theatre shows and has written several screenplays and a children’s opera project. She is also an award winning songwriter having previously won Can I Gymru on S4C, The Pan Celtic Song Competition and The International Song Competition.
Bemubu is an extension of all the work she has created for companies over the years, from the National Library to Wrexham County Council, Nat West, Visit Wales, Ty hafan and many others the potential of songs for business became obvious after writing the delightfully silly ‘Entrepreneur Song” for a nationwide entrepreneurial awards ceremony.
With extensive access to all things musical, clients can be sure of an original approach to their project, promotion or event.
Her lyrics can be pithy, funny, witty, poignant, always hitting the mark. This is why she decided to set up BeMuBu as a resource for businesses who want that something special for an event or a campaign. BeMuBu is her calling card, a one stop shop for all things musical.
